Angie Campbell currently teaches 8th grade English and serves as the Junior High
coordinator for the English department as well as the JH literary magazine sponsor. She
began teaching at Prep in 2006. She was born and raised in Seneca, South Carolina,
and received her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (English) from Clemson
University and has completed postgraduate hours towards a Master’s in Reading. Angie
taught five years in South Carolina prior to the birth of her first child after which she
came home for over ten years and even homeschooled for a few years. She has fourteen
years combined teaching experience in South Carolina, Arkansas, and Mississippi. She
and her husband were on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 7 years as part of the
Familylife division of ministry in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Angie married her high school sweetheart, Steve Campbell, in 1988. Steve currently
serves as the Lead Pastor of Ministry at Pinelake Church. They have 3 children: Zack (a
sophomore at Mississippi College), Jacob (a 2011 Prep graduate who is now a freshman
soccer player at University of Central Arkansas), and Kristen (a 10th grader at Prep). Her
hobbies include reading, gardening, watching movies, Bible study, and attending her
son’s soccer games.
