Inclement Weather Dismissal Notification

When weather conditions occur during the school day which may render driving hazardous, the Head of School will maintain communications with the Emergency Operations Center. School will be dismissed if predictions indicate that traveling conditions may become dangerous. In that situation, we will place the closure announcement at the top of the parent page of our web site. During a day that threatens severe weather, parents should check the web site frequently.

During a period prior to the beginning of a school day when weather conditions indicate that traveling to school may be hazardous, the Head of School will maintain communications with the Emergency Operations Center. The Head of School will evaluate the information provided by the EOC and may at her discretion dismiss school. In this event, radio and television stations will be notified prior to 6:30 a.m.
