Driver Education Classes

Driver education is offered from 7:30 a.m. until 8:20 a.m. for a six-week period during first semester only. After the classroom time, students drive during their study hall throughout the remainder of the year. Information on this course is announced through the daily bulletin and posted on the web site at the beginning of each school year.

Driver education is also taught during summer school each summer. Information on this course is included in the summer academic brochure.

The state guidelines require that a student be at least fourteen years old and in the ninth grade in order to participate in a driver education class.
