Honors Programs
A 6th grade
Honors Forum will be held on Thursday, May 10, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. in the Lyceum.
Parents are invited to attend this program. The remainder of the day will be spent in fun
activities for the students.
The junior high Honors Forum
will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 10:55 a.m. in the auditorium. This is the
time when selected seventh and eighth graders will receive academic and fine
arts awards and recognition for their community service. Parents are invited to attend this program,
which will last approximately one hour.
Students will return to class after the program.
Ninth grade Class Day will
be held on Friday, May 11, at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium. On this day,
ninth graders will receive academic and fine arts awards, community service
recognition, and certificates for completion of junior high. Parents are invited to attend this program,
which will last approximately one hour.
Following the program and pictures, there will be a reception for ninth
graders and their families in the area adjacent to the auditorium. The ninth graders will then be dismissed from
school for the remainder of the day.
The senior high Honors Forum
will be held on Thursday, May 10, at 10:55 a.m. in the auditorium. At this
program, tenth and eleventh graders will receive academic and fine arts awards
and recognition for community service.
Parents are invited to attend this program. Students will return to class after the
program.
Class Day for Seniors (12th grade only) will be held on Friday,
May 4, at 9:30
a.m. in the auditorium. At this program, seniors will receive
academic and fine arts awards, as well as recognition of community service and
college scholarships. Special awards
such as Hall of Fame are also announced.
Parents are invited to attend this program. Following the program and pictures, seniors
are dismissed from school for the remainder of the day.
Graduation will be held on
Thursday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Thalia Mara Hall.
