Precis Pageant
Each January the Jackson
Prep Precis (yearbook) staff presents the annual Precis Pageant. The purpose of the evening is to announce the
winners of the superlative awards that will be pictured in the yearbook. Awards that are presented are:

In addition, those students
elected as Beauties and Beaux participate in a pageant that evening. Outside judges determine Most Beautiful and
Most Handsome. The evening is also used
to showcase a variety of student talent as entertainment.
Proceeds from the evening
are divided between the Precis and the drama department, who assist with all
technical aspects of the evening.
