Quest for the Cup

Quest for the cup is a competition among all senior high students that encourages involvement and participation in different areas of school life. It is sponsored by the Student Council. The entire student body has been divided into eight teams. Each team is named after a different mythological character. There are roughly the same number of girls and boys on each team, as well as the same number from each grade.

Throughout the year students can earn points for their team in a variety of ways. Some examples are participation in spirit dress-up days, community service hours, intramurals, and attendance at various school events. Points are also given to the team with the highest team GPA.

The points are cumulative for the year and rewards are given at the end of each 9-weeks. The Apollo team won the first 9-weeks reward which was a Chick-fil-A breakfast. The prizes are bigger and better each 9-weeks, with the final grand prize being a $25 gift card to Best Buy for each student on the winning team. Funds to cover the cost of prizes are generated through the Student Council school supply store.
