Crisler was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi and is very proud to call this community home. She graduated from Prep in 1984 and is married to Doug Boone, a 1981 Prep graduate. They have two children, Will, class of 2011 and Sam, class of 2014. In early 1995, Crisler came to Jackson Prep as Associate Director of Development for the first Development Office. In 1997, Crisler and Doug relocated to Atlanta and in 2004, the Boones moved back to Jackson.

In 2005, Crisler rejoined the Prep staff as Director of Major Gifts and worked with the Investing in Excellence capital campaign. In July of 2007, she assumed her current role as Head of External Affairs, responsible for the areas of Admission, Alumni Relations, Annual Giving and Public Relations.
