For nearly forty years, Prep has been recognized as one of the pre-eminent independent schools in Mississippi and the Southeast. It is the result of our students’ academic achievements, athletic prowess, artistic expressions, and strong work ethic. Those familiar with Prep know of our success in preparing students for higher education and in preparing our students to become leaders in their chosen professions and in their communities. As you browse our website, you’ll enjoy learning more about all of these and much more. Prep is a school that honors its past and cherishes its traditions. But we also push forward with new ideas, exciting ventures, and strategic opportunities for our students. Ours is a school that seeks to cultivate personal integrity through biblical values. We also aspire to equip students to pursue lives of distinction in service to society. These are cardinal virtues of a Prep education, and, as you browse the website, you’ll see many ways we bring these ideals to life on a daily basis. Beyond learning about the school online, I personally invite you to visit our campus. Prep is an amazing institution, but the school’s greatest asset is our people. Our vibrant student body is full of talented, bright young people. Our faculty are gifted, intelligent teachers whose zeal for learning is contagious. Our coaches and student athletes win in every sport, and our fine arts program enriches the campus community in myriad ways.
