Cory Caton has been a teacher and coach at Jackson Prep since 2004. She is a native of London, Ontario Canada where she grew up going to school and playing softball, track, basketball, volleyball, swimming and figure skating! Coach Caton has a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and French and a Masters in Education emphasis on exercise science from Troy University, Alabama where she attended on a softball scholarship. She was an All-American Academic team member in her four years of college. She teaches all levels of French at Jackson Prep and is the French club sponsor, Head JV and varsity softball coach, Head JV and varsity girls track coach and coaches basketball. Before coming to Jackson Prep Coach Caton taught and coached for two years at The Montgomery Academy in Montgomery, Al. Coach Caton is married to Matthew Caton (also from Canada) and they have a daughter Taylor (2007) and son Boyd (2009).
