In 1993, Jane Zhu received a B.A. in Mass Communications from Truman State University and did graduate work in higher education at Mississippi State University.  From 1988 to 1992, Jane was a political journalist for Independent Evening Post, a tutor and a high school and junior college philosophy and Chinese teacher in Taiwan.  Jane moved to the United States seventeen years ago.  From 1997 to 1999, she was a teacher at the Chinese School in Madison, and from 2002 to 2004 she tutored students in language, arts and math.  At Prep, she is teaching Chinese I and II classes.
