Kimberly Van Uden received a B. S. and M.S. in mathematics from Mississippi College. She obtained National Board certification in 2000, with a renewal in 2010. With more than 14 years of teaching experience, Kimberly has taught mathematics at the Dunham School in Baton Rouge, South Panola High School and Murrah High School. Since 2000, while at Murrah, she taught Algebra I and II and Discrete Math and served as the Math Department Chair. During the summers of 2007-2009, she was the director of the Pre-AP Camp at Millsaps. At Prep, Kimberly is teaching AP Calculus BC, AP Calculus AB, Applied Calculus and Honors Algebra II. She is married to Robert Van Uden, a 1990 graduate of Jackson Prep, and they have a daughter named Emily who is known for saying "no count mommy - no count."
