A native of Tallahassee, Florida I graduated from Mississippi College with a BS in
Education followed by graduate courses through the University of Mississippi. I taught
Special Education in the Jackson Public Schools for several years.

This is my 19th year at Prep as Administrative Assistant to the Head of Junior High,
Assistant Head of Junior High, and two counselors. My job description encompasses a
myriad of responsibilities and tasks and is never dull! I have been blessed with a job
that I truly enjoy in a stimulating environment of supportive faculty, staff, students, and
parents.

Wallace and I have two sons, Hayes and Reid, who graduated from Prep and Ole Miss.
Hayes, Blake, and son Watson live in Jackson and own The Cherokee Inn Restaurant.
Reid, Elizabeth and son Wallace live in Charlotte, NC where he is associated with the
law firm of Moore and Van Allen as Deputy Director of Government Affairs. Wallace
and I are members of Northminster Baptist Church.
