Sarah Scruggs received a B. A. in history from Mississippi State University in 1978.  She has more than eleven years of experience teaching social studies, English and reading at Carroll Academy and the Koscuisko, Madison County and Clinton public school systems.   Sarah has been a Jackson Prep substitute teacher for several years and joins the Prep staff as an 11th grade U. S. History teacher.
