David Horner received a B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi College and Master of Art and Teaching from Belhaven College. He comes to Prep from Southern Baptist Education Center, where he taught in the social studies department and, for the past two years, served as the Head Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach and Head Cross Country Coach. Prior to that time, he coached at Madison Ridgeland Academy for three years and was a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Athletic Studies and Ministry at Belhaven College. In 2001, David was a professional basketball player for Club Estudiantes in Laplata, Argentina. He and his wife, Amy, have relocated from Southaven to Flowood, Mississippi. David will be teaching two classes of Economics and Government, and he will be the Head Varsity and Junior High Boy's Basketball Coach. David will also coach the junior varsity team and in the seventh grade boy's basketball program.
