She currently serves as 8th grade Team leader. She was Prep's nominee for Teacher of the Year to the MPSEA during the 2002-03 school year.

A graduate of Tupelo High School, Mrs. Leech holds a bachelor of arts degree from Millsaps College and a master's degree from Mississippi College. Her teaching experience includes both parochial and other private schools in the Jackson area. She and her husband are the proud parents of three young adults and have one grandchild.

"For as long as I can remember all that I have wanted to do was to have a family and teach school. I feel very blessed to have been able to accomplish both of those goals. Teaching at Prep has allowed me to discover that I love teaching the history of our country and that I love teaching thirteen and fourteen year olds. I hope I instill in my students a deeper appreciation of those folks who were just like us and the sacrifices they made for our country."
