Zere Ezaz received his B.S. degree from Haile Selassie I University
in Ethiopia, an M.S. in animal science and reproductive physiology
from New Mexico State University, and his Ph.D. in agriculture/reproductive
physiology from the University of Wales. Dr. Ezaz spent more than
fifteen years teaching and conducting research in the fields of
anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and parasitology in
Ethiopia and Eritrea, in East Africa. He has also worked as an adjunct
professor in microbiology and biology at Hinds Community College
and animal physiology at Millsaps College. He was professor and
agricultural projects coordinator at Piney Woods School. Dr. Ezaz
enjoys reading and traveling in his spare time. His wife, Mebrat,
is currently completing her degree in business and accounting at
Millsaps College. His three children are Prep graduates. Aron and
Ghideon have also graduated from the University of Mississippi and
Washington University in St. Louis, respectively. Betel, the youngest,
is joining Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ezaz teaches
tenth grade biology and twelfth grade advanced biology.
