PREP QUIZ BOWL BANNER YEAR

Jackson Prep’s 2008 academic competition team, commonly known as quiz bowl, had a very successful year. In seven academic tournament appearances, Prep brought home five 1st place trophies, a 2nd place trophy and a 4th place trophy. Prep won the MPSEA Overall Tournament for the third consecutive year. PREP SENIORS RECEIVE 2008 DANFORTH AWARD

Three Jackson Prep seniors received the Danforth Award at Senior High Class Day. The Danforth Award emphasizes development of mind, body and spirit and implies leadership by example. These recipients are proven leaders both inside the classroom and in the vast realm of co-curricular activities. PREP NINTH GRADERS HONORED WITH DANFORTH AWARD

At the ninth grade class day ceremonies, the Danforth Award was given to two ninth grade students who excelled academically, as well as exhibited a quiet strength of character, leadership by example and spiritual development. PREP SENIORS HONORED WITH FACULTY SCHOOL SERVICE AWARD

On Class Day, three Jackson Prep seniors received the Faculty School Service Award. This award honors seniors who have been supportive of the broad spectrum of student life at Prep through a positive attitude, consistent participation, and quality performance throughout their school years.
