PREP STUDENTS HEAR INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
Jackson Prep students were recently privileged to hear
an inspirational message about the concepts of humility and teamwork
from Alan Williams, author of the book, Walk-On: Life at the End of
the Bench. Williams also talked about Teammates 1st, an organization
he founded that is dedicated to helping people rediscover the significance
of being a part of a team. Williams’ mother-in-law and father-in-law,
Helen and John Lynch, both graduated from Jackson Prep in the Class

PREP WINS MSMS TOURNAMENT 12TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
For the twelfth consecutive year, Jackson Prep has won
the overall competition trophy at the Mathematics Tournament hosted
by the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. The competition
consisted of 27 public and private schools with 650 students competing.
In ciphering, which recognizes speed and accuracy, four-member teams
placed first in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Prep students
placed first in the written test division of Algebra II and Pre-Calculus,
with Geometry claiming four of the top ten positions; Pre-Calculus,
five; and Calculus, five. The following students represented Prep at

PREP HOLDS ANNUAL JUNIOR CLASS GARAGE SALE
Jackson Prep will hold its annual Junior Class Garage
Sale on Saturday, March 8, at the J. O. Manning Patriot Center on the
Prep campus on Lakeland Drive. Early Bird hours are 5:00 a.m. until
7:00 a.m., with a $5 admission fee. Regular hours are 7:00 a.m. until
11:00 a.m. The garage sale is held to raise money for junior class activities.
Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Mission First. Pictured
