Prep has produced 517 National Merit Semifinalists, more than any other private or public school in the state. Prep’s Class of 2011 has 10 Semifinalists.
Prep is one of only four schools in the state to have a chapter of the Cum Laude Society, founded in 1906 as the high school equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa.
Prep offers the only Classical Heritage Diploma in the state. Prep is one of the few schools in the South that offers Greek language and classical studies.
In 2009-10, Prep athletic teams won 8 state championships. Prep’s Class of 2010 received scholarship offers totaling $7.7 million; 72% of the class received merit-based scholarships totaling $2.8 million.

31% of Prep’s Class of 2010 qualified for the Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant, which requires an ACT score of 29 and a 3.5 GPA.
Prep’s faculty/staff is comprised of more than 90 dedicated and experienced professionals; including 54.4% who have earned post-graduate degrees. Seven faculty members hold doctoral degrees.
